A watch, different from any existing watch ... the Time Dimension is definitely a product with a long and complex history -- but in the end -- it turned out to be a story of complete success. Hans Donner conceived a masterpiece that had to wait for nine long years to reach completion.
A watch with discs instead of pointers was an outrageous, impossible idea for the majority of leading experts ... until Bernhard Lederer, an expert watchmaker from Germany, took the problem in his hands. The amazing watch was ready to be manufactured.

500 years anniversary watch

For the 500th anniver-
sary of the discovery of Brazil (April 22nd 2000), Hans Donner designed a special tower clock. The clock display is showing a map of Brazil. The second hand is pointing at the center of Brazil where the capital - Brasilia - is situated. In 27 different Brazilian state capital cities, identical tower clocks have been built.

The idea of Time Dimension wasn't intended to be limited only to a wrist watch. Donner envisioned even making monumental clocks for city squares, like this concept of a tower clock for the Berlin Plaza.

The Time Dimension quickly became a worldly known phenomenon. It entered the 1995 edition of the magazine that lists Europe's most beautiful watches every year. Winning fourth place, Time Dimension made an astonishing breakthrough. For years only classic watches were able to compete. This time it was a modern one. [video]
